We only collect the information we need to provide you with a useful financial profile and help you access relevant opportunities. This may include:
- Name and email address (if you sign up or contact us)
- Connected platform data (e.g. Stripe, YouTube, Shopify) — income only, never content or personal messages
- Usage data (how you use our site or services)
- Optional uploads (e.g. tax returns or invoices)
Cleared will only access earnings and financial data explicitly authorised by the user. We will never access content, personal messages, or platform activity unrelated to income

- Generate your Financial Health Profile
- Share your profile
only
with partners you explicitly opt into
- Improve Cleared’s services and platform performance
- Send relevant updates or opportunities if you’ve opted in
We never sell your personal data. Cleared gives you full control over who sees your financial profile. Any opportunity we share with you — whether from a housing provider, bank, or brand — is strictly opt-in and privacy-protected

- If and when you want to delete your data
You can update your permissions or delete your profile at any time.
4. Third-Party Integrations
We work with trusted services (e.g. Stripe, Google, Webflow) to provide functionality. These platforms have their own privacy policies and do not gain access to your Cleared data unless explicitly required for the service.
5. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security practices to keep your information safe, including encryption and regular audits.

Cleared is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.

Welcome to Cleared — a platform designed to help creators and self-employed professionals verify income and financial health in order to unlock better opportunities.
By accessing or using Cleared (the “Platform”), you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you don’t agree with them, please do not use the platform.
1. Who Can Use Cleared
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cleared. By using the platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you’re legally allowed to enter into these terms.
2. What We Do
Cleared provides:
- Tools to help users create a Financial Health Profile based on connected platform income
- Optional sharing of that profile with trusted partners (e.g. housing providers, lenders, platforms)
- A secure dashboard to manage visibility and opt-in preferences
We do not offer financial advice, credit decisions, or lending ourselves — we simply help make your financial picture clearer.
3. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Only provide information that’s accurate and yours to share
- Not misuse or abuse the service (no scraping, hacking, or spam)
- Respect other users and partners
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and your profile up to date.
4. Data Use & Privacy
Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect and use your data. You retain ownership of your data and can delete your profile at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
Cleared may integrate with platforms like Stripe, YouTube, or Shopify to retrieve income data. These services have their own terms, and you are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to those separately.
6. Intellectual Property
All branding, content, and platform features are owned by Cleared or its licensors. Don’t use our materials or code without permission.
7. Beta Features & Early Access
Cleared is currently in an early access or testing phase. That means:
- Features may change or be unavailable
- Data accuracy may improve over time
- We can’t guarantee uninterrupted service
We appreciate your feedback as we build and improve.
8. Accuracy of Information
By using Cleared, you agree that all information and data you provide - including but not limited to income details, linked accounts, uploaded documents, and profile information - is true, accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You are solely responsible for the integrity of the data you submit.
Cleared is not liable for any decisions, opportunities, or consequences that arise from the use of inaccurate or incomplete information. You acknowledge that any false or misleading data may affect the performance of the platform and the value of your Financial Health Profile.
Cleared reserves the right to remove, suspend, or restrict access to any user accounts that are found to be supplying false or fraudulent data.
9. Termination
You can stop using Cleared at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the platform in bad faith.
You may request full deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@getcleared.app or using the in-platform request tool. We will comply within 30 days, unless otherwise required by law
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you via the platform or email.
